Library has acquired new e-resources for Lapland UAS and University of Lapland.
New recources for both universities
Taylor & Francis e-book collection of 3000 titles is available for both universities.
The collection includes books on various topics like social sciences, tourism and hospitality, education, politics, and business. Individual book titles can be found in LUC-Finna database.
The Encyclopedia of tourism management and marketing is a comprehensive reference book in the field of tourism research. The reference ebook contains more than 1200 articles.

Web of Science
Web of Science contains several different reference databases, with information on the citations received by the articles as well as possible links to the full text of the articles.
Lapland UAS has access to following databases: Web of Science Core Collection, MEDLINE, Scielo, KCI, Preprint Citation Index, Grants Index, Current Contents Connect, ProQuest Dissertations & Thesis Citation Index.
Kogan Page Complete
An e-book package, which covers a wide range of business topics, includes all Kogan Page’s e-books. There are currently more than 1000 titles in the database. New titles are added to the collection monthly.
New database for University of Lapland
Grove Art Online
Grove Art Online is a scholarly art encyclopedia, offering global coverage of visual culture, composed and expanded in collaboration with thousands of scholars and specialists around the world.
It includes 30,000 signed and peer-reviewed articles contributed by nearly 7,000 international scholars and features entries on artists, architects, craftsmen, patrons, movements, locations, and periods, as well as bibliographies for further research and thousands of searchable images made available through Oxford’s partnerships with museums, galleries, and other outstanding arts organizations.
Elgar Law 2025
Elgar Law 2025 collection is available for University of Lapland. The collection includes 179 e-books in various fields of law.
Individual books can be found in LUC-Finna, and they open on Elgar Online platform. University of Lapland has access to Law collections from 2020 to 2025.
