Do not select the printed publication series unless the Faculty has specifically decided that your dissertation will be published in print. Copies required for the public defence are always printed from the electronic dissertation. You may also order additional copies for yourself at your own expense. These copies are not considered a printed publication and are therefore not assigned a publication series number or an ISBN.
The University of Lapland recommends the Creative Commons CC BY 4.0 licence. However, you may choose the licence option that you consider most appropriate. If you do not wish to apply a Creative Commons licence to your dissertation, please select the option “All rights reserved.” The license applies to the monograph dissertation as a whole and the integrative chapter of the article-based dissertation.
