Sage Journals -database contains about 500 e-journals within education, humanities, health sciences, politics, psychology, sociology, business and management, communication.
- Start by selecting Advanced Search (1)

- Enter alternative terms on the first line. If your search terms are phrases, use quotes (1.). Note that you have to add OR between the alternative terms (2.).
- Enter another term on the next line, truncate with * to get records with plurals (3.)
- You can limit your search to abstracts by the drop-down menu on the left (4.). By choosing All fields in the drop down menu, you will search from all fields, including author names and the full texts of articles. (Sometimes author names are meaningful words.)
- You can add more search fields by clicking + (5.).

- If the full text is available in the University of Lapland, there is the green open lock symbol.
- You can edit the search by clicking "Refine Search" (1).
- You can sort the result list to start with the newest first by choosing Date (2).
- You can narrow your search with the suggestions in the right frame (3).
