High North Research Documents includes all freely available research documents thematically relevant to the high north. The service covers all subjects and many languages, and is free and open for all.
The catalogue contain records of books, ebooks, videos, theses and open access content as well as over 110,000 journal articles. The SPRI library boasts a unique collection of work on the polar regions, spanning history, biography, poetry, fiction, social anthropology and the hard sciences.
This list contains some of the open access journals, that contain arctic and/or antarctic science. Most journals containing arctic and/or antarctic science are not open access and they are not included in this list. And most articles about arctic issues are published in scientific journals of various fields of science, not just in arctic journals.
Arctic Science is a NEW open-access peer-reviewed journal. An interdisciplinary journal, Arctic Science, publishes original peer-reviewed research from all areas of natural science and applied science & engineering related to northern Polar Regions.
